My Fellow VSOers, where are they now?

Here’s a photo of some of the folks with whom I shared my SKWID “Skills for Working in Development” training in Ottawa, the week before coming to Namibia.

From left to right: Alex is in Jamaica working the legal system, Lise is on her way to northern Cameroon (say hi to all my friends there!) to work in a local NGO dealing with gender issues, Helen is also in Jamaica (yah man) doing OD/HR work in a local org, then there’s me, across from me is Sarah who is heading to northern Nigeria in June to train math teachers (interestingly, there are many Nigerian teachers volunteering here in Katima!), Bob is off to Bougainville, Papua New Guinea to work in Secure Livelihoods, and finally Edoye is in Nepal doing OD/HR work in a local organization in Kathmandu.

Man, I wish I had some money so I could visit them. So many places to see!
